Hallis is a provider of human capital management solutions, including recruitment, human resources consulting, managed workforces and research & surveys.

Why Hallis collects information about you
To achieve our business aims, it is necessary for Hallis to obtain certain information about you for one or more of the following purposes:

Information Hallis gathers
The type of personal information we collect about you includes your name, mailing address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address, employment history and qualifications, as well as the details of psychological tests or other assessment results.
Sometimes we may collect sensitive information about you, such as details of your health or any criminal record that you may have. When we collect sensitive information we will obtain your specific consent.
There may be occasions when we obtain information about you from a third party. This may include performance feedback about your work or reports from your nominated referees. Your personal and sensitive information will always be collected by fair and lawful means.
Utilisation and disclosure of your information
Hallis will use your information in a way that is consistent with, or directly related to, the purpose for which it was collected, such as finding you employment.

If you inform Hallis of changes in your information, we will endeavour to update and correct your records. Hallis may also contact you or take other reasonable steps to ensure that your information is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
Information storage
We will ensure that your personal information is removed from our records after 12 months if you are no longer seeking employment through Hallis. If you would prefer your personal information destroyed prior to this, please send a written request to the address at the end of this document:
Accessing your information
If you would like to gain access to the information we hold about you or if you wish to make a complaint about how Hallis deals with your personal and sensitive information, please contact our Privacy Coordinator by writing to the address above.
We will deal with your request to provide information within a reasonable time and may seek payment for any reasonable costs associated with providing information to you.
Your rights as a candidate

Hallis does not charge you a fee for the purpose of finding you employment

Hallis will not engage in misleading or deceptive conduct (such as advertising a position as being available when the agency knows no such position exists or knowingly giving misleading information to a job seeker about the nature of a position); and

If you believe Hallis has acted inappropriately you may contact the Department of Fair Trading in your state for information on possible action that may be taken.
